This July, join Ayanda for a powerful one-day workshop designed to prepare young performers for upcoming The Lion King auditions. Through immersive, high-energy training, students will develop the essential skills to stand out — from storytelling through movement, vocal performance and character work.
With a strong focus on confidence, stage presence, and audition technique, this workshop offers industry-level preparation in a fun, supportive environment.
Having played Young Nala herself, Ayanda brings rare, firsthand insight into what the creative team looks for. Under her guidance, students will walk away with polished performance skills, discipline, and the confidence to shine.

Kids in Musicals is proud to collaborate with local dance schools across Sydney to offer exclusive full-day musical theatre workshops during the school holidays.
These vibrant, high-energy workshops are designed to complement your existing programs by introducing your students to the full spectrum of musical theatre—acting, singing, and dancing—all in one exciting day. Whether your students are seasoned dancers or new to the stage, our workshops provide a fresh and inspiring opportunity to develop performance skills, stage presence, and confidence in a supportive and fun environment.
Led by Ayanda, an experienced professional performer, each workshop is tailored to your school’s age group (ages 5–15), and delivered with industry-standard training and creative flair. Students will explore storytelling through song, character development, choreography, and ensemble performance—all while being encouraged to express themselves and shine.
These holiday workshops are the perfect way to keep students engaged during the break, build their confidence, and develop skills that support professional-level performance.

Dance Lessons
Minimum session: 2 hours
These tailored lessons focus on the core fundamentals of theatrical movement and performance techniques essential for auditions and stage work. You’ll either learn a brand-new choreography in the style of the production you’re preparing for, or work on material provided directly by the creative team.
After purchase, a full briefing will be sent via email, including schedule, location, and required materials.
Singing Lessons
Minimum session: 2 hours
These sessions are designed to develop and strengthen your vocal technique, helping you deliver confident, expressive performances for auditions or shows. Lesson material will be provided by Ayanda ahead of time, or you can bring your own pieces supplied by your show’s creative team.
After purchase, a full briefing will be sent via email, including schedule, location, and required materials.
Acting Lessons
Minimum session: 1 hour
These lessons focus on key elements of stage acting, including scene work, character development, and building on-stage presence. You’ll explore theatre acting techniques and deepen your confidence—all in a fun, supportive environment.
Acting lessons are held at personalised locations, arranged in consultation with each client. Material will be provided by Ayanda before the session, or you may bring your own content from the production team.
