Founder/Coach
Ayanda Dladla is the founder and coach of Kids in Musicals. A Sydney-based performer with a dynamic career in musical theatre, Ayanda began her professional journey at just 10 years old, debuting as ‘Molly’ in Gordon Frost’s production of Annie—a role that marked the start of a thriving career on stage.
She went on to perform with major stage production companies including Disney, the Royal Shakespeare Company, Opera Australia, and Crossroads Live. Her notable roles include ‘Young Nala’ in The Lion King, ‘Alice’ in Matilda the Musical, ‘Ngana’ in South Pacific, and a member of the ensemble in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang. Most recently, Ayanda toured nationally as ‘Little Inez’ in Hairspray, sharing the stage with Australian icons such as Shane Jacobson, Rob Mills, Todd McKenney, and Rhonda Burchmore.
As a teenager, Ayanda was selected by creative teams to travel with productions, including completing the Brisbane season of The Lion King. At just 16, she became the youngest participant ever invited to attend the Book of Mormon Musical singing camp in Melbourne.
Though she trained at institutions like the Australian Performing Arts Grammar School and Village Nation, Ayanda’s skills were primarily honed through the hands-on experience of her professional career.
With Ayanda’s mentorship, you’ll gain the confidence, discipline, and refined skills to deliver impactful performances. If you’re a young creative with big dreams of the stage—now is the time to step up and join the team!
